NPTC 2017 Truck Council Industry News

Registration is now open for the annual conference and exhibition hosted by the National Private Truck Council. With over 1200 attendees last year, this event constitutes the largest annual gathering of private truck fleets anywhere. With 200 exhibitors expected in 2017, this event is not to be missed. The conference and exhibition will be held from April 30 to May 2, 2017 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The exhibit hall will be set up at the Duke Energy Convention Center at 525 Elm Street. 

In addition to the enticing exhibit hall, the NPTC has arranged for a variety of conference sessions and keynote speakers. Most of the conference sessions will be held at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hotel. There will be many interesting session topics, including but not limited to:

  • Improving private fleet values,
  • Fuel economy,
  • Collaborative logistics,
  • Commercial vehicle safety,
  • Repercussions of automated transmissions, and
  • Effective driver wellness programs

These programs are sure to interest suppliers and fleet owners alike. The keynote speakers will also be giving talks on contemporary issues within the industry. One of the keynote speakers, Dr. Bharat Balasubramanian, will be giving a talk on safety and the evolution of autonomous driving. Another keynote speaker, Polyface Farm owner Joe Salatin, will be giving a talk entitled, "Rattling the Supply Chain: The Box of Food at the Front Door."


The NPTC conference and exhibition is the perfect place to network, meet with prospective buyers and suppliers, and learn about the latest challenges facing the industry.
